Spring ploughing is underway in Wulate Front Banner of Bayannaoer City, north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

A total of 12 automated unmanned seed planters have been adopted, replacing manual seed planting, as a means to raise efficiency, while keeping precision.

The machines are powered by the satellite of the BeiDou Navigation Satellite System.

Farmers could set up a working pattern, including ploughing speed, area, and density, for the planter before it starts to work.

These unmanned seed planters can seed about 6.7 hectares of farmland this year.
