A driver installed a two-meter-long umbrella for two traffic police officers, who were on duty at a crossroad in hot weather in Xinhe county, Aksu, northwest China's Xinjiang during the May Day holiday.
A car stopped at the crossroad. A police officer stepped forward to persuade the driver to leave.
The driver took out a two-meter-long umbrella and a cement base from the car and installed them beside the duty point.
He said his children were impressed by the police officers when they passed by before, so they decided to bring an idle umbrella here.
