For his fourth destination, Max Silk came to Sanya. Instead of going to the attractive beaches he loves, Max chose Binglang Valley, a beautiful tribe hidden in Hainan’s ancient rainforests showcasing the cultural heritage and handicrafts of the earliest inhabitants of Hainan island – the Li and Miao ethnic minorities which migrated here around 2,000 years ago. Dressed in traditional embroidery garments, Max joined the grand party of locals – singing folk songs, dancing between bamboo sticks, drinking off home-brewed Shanlan rice wine…Come and join Max to take a glimpse into the interesting life of this region’s first settlers!
