Thousands of kilometers away from their hometown in southwest China's Sichuan Province, the 13-year-old male giant panda Youyou is spending another winter at Yabuli Panda House in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, the country's northernmost panda house.
Youyou has settled in well since arriving in Yabuli in July 2016.
The pandas at Yabuli Panda House are more active in winter than in summer and enjoy walking and playing in the snow. They spend less time outdoors when the temperature drops below minus 20 degrees Celsius, though.
