A research team from northeast China's Harbin Institute of Technology has developed a curling robot "coach" to help with the training of curling athletes for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games. With AI, image recognition, automatic control and other technologies, the robot can analyze the tactics adopted by the athletes. The robot is able to simulate the curling throwing process on the sheet and help athletes understand possible game situations in advance.
