The torch relay for China's 14th National Games - as well as the 11th National Paralympic Games and 8th National Special Olympics - officially began on Monday, August 16. Appropriately enough, the torches themselves are manufactured by a Xi'an enterprise located on the city's "Huoju Road", or "Torch Road" in English.
Xi'an Henp Sports Technology has made torches for six editions of China's National Games, as well as overseas events like the Southeast Asian Games and the FISU World University Games.
