This year marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC).
Former Belarusian ambassador to China Anatoly Tozik praised the remarkable achievements China has made under the leadership of the CPC.
"In just 100 years, after enormous challenges, wars, success and mistakes, the CPC transformed China from a semi-colonial and a backward agricultural country, where about 90 percent of the population was illiterate, into one of the most powerful and dynamically developing countries on the planet," said Tozik. "This is a great achievement that no country in the world has been able to achieve."
Tozik said many countries could learn from China's development experiences.
"I think this experience is very important, not only for China and the countries of Southeast Asia, but also for the rest of the world, including Belarus," he said.
